At NAB we independently select and write about stuff we want to NAB and think you'll enjoy too! Some of these products are not currently on the People's website, so we've linked them to the "unlisted" product page where there are instructions on how to place an order for items not currently listed.
May 24 marks the start of summer for Bermudians and it's the first official day that we will put on our swimsuits and actually take a dip in the water. This is also when most of us discover that the bottle of sunscreen from last summer has spilled out into the bottom of our beach bag and it's time to do a restock!
Summer in Bermuda is hot and humid ( I seriously feel like you can feel your skin sizzling), so it's easy to remember to put on sunscreen, but we often forget that sunscreen should actually be part of our year round beauty routine. It keeps our face and neck protected from the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays and should be worn when it's overcast, raining...even when we think we're not going to leave the house! I have to admit, I only just recently started to incorporate sunscreen into my daily routine ( I was so worried it would turn my face ashy and feel sticky & greasy) but by mixing it into my daily moisturizer, it's now just part of the routine.
Sunscreen is so mainstream now that you don't have to visit specialty shops to get a good quality formula and you can easily stock up on dermatologist approved sunscreens at your local pharmacy. People's Pharmacy has an incredible selection of sunscreens that are great for all different skin types and many are reef safe too! I know there are so many choices and sometimes it's hard to know what's best, so I've done some research and highlighted 12 that you can NAB from People's Pharmacy.
